Rejected

Writer: Szymon MochortSzymon Mochort

This is a rejection compilation. It includes deleted stuff, unfinished stuff, and so much more.

Deleted

Out of 76 articles (this'll be our 77th), 6 articles are currently in the Shadow Realm of blog posts. This is where the posts were manually removed after being published, hiding them from your view.

Templates

This one is simple. 3 articles were added to the blog by default when the site was made in late 2020, and they were removed to remove clutter and make it seem less cobbled together.

They are:

  • Design A Stunning Blog

  • Grow Your Blog Community

  • Now You Can Blog From Everywhere!

All 3 were removed on August 5th, 2020.

1021 Secure Passwords

This was removed on 8th December 2021. It seems that this is an old draft of it that I accidentally published and deleted.

The Horrible One

This is the notorious article mentioned in "Poorly Aged". I won't discuss it further, but it was an article that claimed that Google doesn't spy on you. Its argument was that the data was necessary. I removed it today, on the 9th March 2023. It will not resurface ever again, for fear of gaslighting someone.

Wallpapers

On the 26th january 2021, I moved this to the trash. No idea why, I don't really care.

Drafted

Turns out, some articles never got published. This is likely because I am a forgetful scatterbrain. It also turns out that there are more, more interesting articles here.

Top 10 Worst Windows Programs

This was a top 10 list of the worst Windows programs ever released. I only reached #6, but they were, in order:

  1. CCleaner

  2. Flash Player

  3. Microsoft Silverlight

  4. iTunes For Windows

  5. Java

AdVenture Capitalist

This was an article where I recounted my attempt at hacking AdVenture Capitalist. I never published it because it has a part with a tutorial, which I am not bothered to continue.

Switch From LastPass to KPXC

This seems to be the original KeePassXC post that got replaced with the current one. I forgot that there was a draft and remade it. Oops.

Education Edition

This was a guide on how to get Minecraft Education Edition for free. I wrote one sentence: "This is cool- you can get MC EDU for free. "

Riveting stuff.

Theory: First Flash, Now Java

This was meant to be a conspiracy theory of sorts. I never went too far, but the gist of it is that I assumed Oracle would discontinue Java. In hindsight, that will never happen. Java is Oracle's main form of data collection. They'd never discontinue it, unless it seriously declined in marketshare. But even then, Minecraft would keep it afloat.

Metaverse

Aptly titled "Thought on the Metaverse?", it was about my opinions regarding the Metaverse and its uncanny similarity to Ready Player One's OASIS. This post has aged poorly, since the Metaverse is no more.

Programs You Shouldn't Use

Another one-liner: "Here are 10 common programs that shouldn't even be on your computer!"

The list would have contained stuff like CCleaner and Avast, I guess. Good things sometimes die.

Conclusion

Nobody's perfect, least of all me. I hope that this was a cool and fun learning experience, and a peek behind the curtains here at MHT.
